Antique Imperial Russian Faberge Toi et Moi love 14k gold & 1.2ct Diamonds ring
Antique Imperial Russian Faberge Toi et Moi love 14k gold & 1.2ct Diamonds ring. The ring has been made by Faberge's head workmaster Alfred Thielemann. The ring comes with the original luxury presentation box signed in Russian Faberge, St.

Signed with the Imperial Russian 56 Kokoshnikstandart hallmark for 14k gold with the Greek leter Alfa for St. Petersburg assay office and master's initials AT forAlfred Thielemann. The ring is decorated with two old Rose/Dutch cut diamonds with amazing snow white color(each diamond is 6.22mm in diameter-approx 0.6ct each, 1.2ct in total) A lot of sparkles. The sparkle of old cut diamonds is deeper and warmer, almost glowing in a way that draws the eye into the stone instead of bouncing the light back out. This makes old cut diamonds star performers in candlelight and other low light settings.

The ring is signed inside in Russian "In memory to Yusupova, 1912" na pamyat Yusupovoy. Provenance: The ring comes from the family estate of Zinaida Yusupova. Princess Zinaida Nikolayevna Yusupova (2 September 1861 24 November 1939)was an Imperial Russian noblewoman, the only heiress of Russia's largest private fortune of her time. Famed for her beauty and the lavishness of her hospitality, she was a leading figure in pre-Revolutionary Russian society. In 1882, she married Count Felix Felixovich Sumarokov-Elston, who served briefly as General Governor of Moscow (19141915).

Zinaida is best known as the mother of Prince Felix Yusupov, the murderer of Rasputin. She escaped revolutionary Russia and spent her remaining years living in exile.
