Imperial Russian 14k gold(56)&0.7ct Diamond engagement ring. Signed with the Imperial Russian 56 gold hallmark for 14k gold with St. Petersburg city assay office hallmark crest. The diamond is large and impressive old Rose(Dutch) cut with dimention 6.72mm x 5.56mm x 2.8mm. The sparkle of old cut diamonds is deeper and warmer, almost glowing in a way that draws the eye into the stone instead of bouncing the light back out.
This makes old cut diamonds star performers in candlelight and other low light settings. Excellent condition for its age.
