Eco Estate Jewelry of Austin is pleased to offer you this 14k Russian Imperial Eagle Ring. This handsome vintage ring features the Imperial eagle in great detail atop a scalloped open frame and split-shank shoulders tapering to a comfortably flat-fit band.
Crafted in solid 14k yellow gold. The double-headed eagle symbol is commonly associated with the Byzantine Empire, the Holy Roman Empire, and most recently the Russian Empire. In Byzantine heraldry, the eagle heads represent the Emperor's authority over both secular and religious matters.
The left- and right-facing eagles signified dominance over both East and West. 14k Yellow Gold (marked and tested). 0.85 face tapering to 3.3 mm at back of band. All of our diamonds are genuine and none of our gold is plated (unless otherwise noted). We test all diamonds and gold before listing.
