Antique Imperial Gold Plated 84 Silver Enamel Orthodox Panagia Icon Cross Chain

Stunning large antique Russian gold-plated solid silver pectoral bishops orthodox panagia with. In the center is hand-painted enamel of Mother Mary with Jesus Christ. The side elements and the crown are enameled with three shades of blue.

The back is enameled with light blue champlevé enamel. In the center is inscription in Russian "Save and Keep". The chain is solid gilt-silver made of 51 elements connected with rings.

25 of the elements are cross-shaped and enameled with dark-blue enamel. All the connecting rings of the chain are marked with 84 Russian silver mark.

The Panagia is marked on the back with 84 silver mark, masters mark "?? The crown is also marked with 84 silver mark and "?? There are some cracks at the bottom part of the back enamel- see the pictures. Measures 107.5mm / 4.2 inches High x 69mm / 2.7 inches Wide.
