Antique gilt-silver cloisonné enamel kovsh circa before 1899, Moscow. The Kovsh is a traditional oval-shaped drinking vessel or ladle with a single handle.
The item has a rounded body with a hooked decorated handle and a pronounced front. Enameled throughout with stylized floral ornaments. Hallmarks "MS" in Cyrillic for Maria Vasilievna Semenova, 84 Russian silver standard and city mark are on the bottom. Collectible Antique Russian Silver Serveware.
