Antique Imperial Russian Faberge 14k red gold , Nephrite Easter Egg pendant. This amazing egg has been made by Faberge's head workmaster Erik Kollin. The egg is made of hand carved top quality Russian Nephrite precious stone.

The egg is hold by a solid 14k gold Russian double headed eagle crest. Hallmarked with 56 Russian Imperial gold hallmark for 14k with St. Petersburg assay office crest and with EK. Initials hallmark for Erik Kollin. The egg comes with the original luxury presentation box signed in Russian:Faberge, St.

It is 48mm high without the jumping ring. The egg belonged to the Imperial Russian noblewoman Zinaida Yusupova and comes from her family estate. Princess Zinaida Nikolayevna Yusupova(1861 1939) was an Imperial Russian noblewoman, the only heiress of Russia's largest private fortune of her time. Famed for her beauty and the lavishness of her hospitality, she was a leading figure in pre-Revolutionary Russian society.

In 1882, she married Count Felix Felixovich Sumarokov-Elston, who served briefly as General Governor of Moscow (19141915). Zinaida is best known as the mother of Prince Felix Yusupov, the murderer of Rasputin.
