Certified antique Imperial Russian 18k gold, 1.17ct Diamonds& 2.8ct Sapphire ring. Signed with the Russian 72 hallmark for 18k gold with the initials of the assay master Yakov Lyapunov. The sparkle of old cut diamonds is deeper and warmer, almost glowing in a way that draws the eye into the stone instead of bouncing the light back out. This makes old cut diamonds star performers in candlelight and other low light settings.
The center natural Sapphire is with Navy Blue color, Cabochon cut, semi-transparent, Sri-Lanka origin. The ring comes from the family estate of the Imperial Russian noble lady Elysaveta Alexandrovna Grachova.
Her family emigrated to Bulgaria after the communist revoultion c 1917. Ring size 9(it can be resized to any requested size for free). A must for every serious collector.
