FABERGE 1900 14K Gold Enamel Apple Blossom Garlands Easter Egg Pendant Charm
I present you a One Of A Kind Imperial RVSSIAN Faberge Circa 1900 14K Gold Royal Blue & White Enamel Apple Blossom. Garlands Leaves Easter Egg Pendant Charm. Fully hallmarked and signed (11th image), 56 for 14K gold and AT for goldsmith Alexander Tillander and Alfred Thielemann! The egg charm weighs approximately 4.9 grams.
The approximate dimensions are 1.5 cm (9.4/16 of an inch) in length excluding attachment loop and bale, and approximately 1.37 cm (half of an inch) at its widest from apple blossom flower to opposite curved leaves garland, and approximately 1.82 cm (11.3/16 of an inch) in length including attached loop but excluding the hallmarked bale. This most beautiful easter egg charm with yellow gold leaves garlands and rose gold apple blossom flowers.
I have seen another Faberge egg with similar themes but nowhere near as beautiful even in its colors. Three rose gold apple blossoms over circular yellow gold leaves garlands interconnected by curved yellow gold leaves garlands over six blue guilloche enamel. Panels within rose gold frames on a white enamel egg. The three representing the trinity with the royal blue representing the heavens, and white representing purity, full of symbolism beyond words, with the entire jewel representing the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, now how cool is that!These original Faberge pieces were only created one of a kind, particularly in color and mostly in theme. The six royal blue guilloche enamel windows into the heavens represent members of the royal family, since the larger display ones have lockets that open up displaying their images, and there is an incredibly beautiful photo of the Romanov females wearing white dressing with gold edges and with blue satin slashes, so identical colors!
