This one of a kind master work of art is truly irreplaceable. Fully hallmarked 56 kokoshnik for 14K Russian imperial gold, woman's head right facing for Russian imperial warrant, and two instances of marks which are difficult to make out, but undoubtedly created by one of the top Russian imperial jewelers of the time, for example Faberge or Bolin. Weight of gemstones is approximately 4.50 cwt. Very clear, crisp, brilliant round rose cut diamonds. Measures 5.50 cm in length x 2.0 cm in width (at widest point). This original and genuine Imperial Russian brooch is comparable to royal imperial examples currently on display at the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
