Imperial Russian Faberge 14k gold&Diamonds cigarette case awarded by Nicholas II. 1896 in the original luxury presentation box , awarded personally by Tsar Nicholas II to General Stepan Samsonov. The case is in mint original condition! The case has been made by Faberge's head workmaster August Hollming. The case is 110g heavy solid 14k gold.
Dimention:90x55mm The case decpicting the silver jeweled cypher of Tsar Nicholas II beneath the Imperial crown, decorated with natural old Rose cut Diamonds. The case is hallmarked with August Hollming's hallmark AH ;Faberge hallmark in Russian and with 56 gold Kokoshnik hallmark with the St. The case comes with the original Faberge red morooco leather luxury presentation box decorated with the Imperial eagle.(the red colored boxes indicate that the certain item was made specially for the Cabinet of His Majesty). A must for every serious collector! Provenance: The case has been awarded to the retaired General Samosonov for excellent 40 years service in the army, together with the large silver neck medal with the head of Nicholas II.
