Rare Faberge Imperial Coronation Half Egg Ornament Enamel Guilloche

RARE FABERGE IMPERIAL CORONATION HALF EGG ORNAMENT. This stunning collectible piece is an original limited-edition creation from the House of Fabergé. This Fabergé ornament was crafted using a large distinct amber colored crystal surrounded by an gold lattice with the double headed eagle and Swarovski crystal embellishments layered over it.

The back of the ornament is yellow enamel over guilloche in a wave pattern matching the crystal. The ornament is 2.25 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide and includes a gold cord for a hanging display, such as on a tree. The inverted T-stand easel on the back of the egg allows for easy display throughout the year. The exceptional pieces in the Fabergé Imperial Collection evoke the splendour of the Imperial Romanov court and the rhythms of the Russian seasons.

The piece arrives in its original blue velvet Fabergé box. It is in excellent condition and without any scratches and no missing crystals. The Fabergé family originated in France but during the 18th century, the family settled in Russia.
