This strikingly beautiful example of Imperial Russian silver is signed as shown and was made by Pyotr Petrov of Moscow who worked from 1908 to 1917. The case is also marked 84 for silver content it measures 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 and has a depiction of a Cossack warrior in dramatic high relief. The reverse has names and the double headed eagle mark applied in gold. I do not know what is the carat number.
The clasp has what appears to be a gemstone ; probably a pink tourmaline or perhaps a ruby.
